ART OF NOISE: “The Best Of The Art Of Noise” (China 837 367-1)

This compilation concentrates on AON’s post-ZTT recordings, though “Beatbox”, “Moments In Love” and “Close (To The Edit)” are included from the band’s original contract. The guest appearance of the unlamented Max Headroom on “Paranoimia” won’t raise too many pulses, but the album also includes two more worthwhile cameo shots: Tom Jones on “Kiss” and Duane Eddy on “Peter Gunn”. Completing the set are “Opus 4”, “Legacy”, “Something Always Happens” and “Dragnet ‘88”.
